Explore the skill with this sample brief, then note what you would like to practise with the trainer.
Practice brief: Imagine a 30-second introduction to a workplace using five clips you own: an exterior, a wide interior, two detail shots and a closing shot. Decide what a viewer should understand by the end.
- Write a simple sequence before adding effects. Choose the purpose of each clip and where a title would help explain the story.
- If Premiere Pro is available, assemble a rough cut and trim repeated or distracting moments. Listen for changes in audio level between clips.
- Review the sequence once for the picture and once for the sound. Export a test and watch that file to check titles, framing and playback.
Check your result: A finished sequence needs a clear order and a usable export as well as clean cuts. This preview helps you identify questions about editing, audio, colour and delivery before the three-day course.

Step 4 — Claim
Welingtons submits the claim
After training, we prepare the JD/14 claim form for the employer's declaration. Welingtons then submits the course-fee claim through its training provider e-TRiS account, with the invoice, T3 attendance record and required supporting documents.

Does the Premiere Pro course include audio, colour and export?
Yes. The programme covers the full editing workflow, including audio levels and panning, Lumetri Color correction, titles and graphics, export settings and rendering. Participants work toward a finished video.
Does the Premiere Pro course start with the basics?
Yes. It begins with video production fundamentals, the Premiere Pro interface and project and media management before moving into editing techniques, effects and output.

Do I need my own copy of Premiere Pro?
Face-to-face participants are provided with a training workstation running a current Adobe Creative Cloud version of Premiere Pro. Online participants need Premiere Pro installed and tested beforehand, on a machine with at least 16GB RAM, SSD storage and free space for media.
